Skype's 3.0 Windows Mobile version is now out of beta and finally went Gold. Along with that,Skype also officially released Windows PC 4.1 version out of beta.
Skype Mobile VOIP version works just like Skype Softphone and you would be able to make cheap international calls using skypeout and also use the functionality of skypein.
Can Skype for Mobile VOIP damage Fring/Truphone/Nimbuzz's market share? Will people show brand loyalty for Skype Mobile VOIP? These questions are unanswered unless we get some clear indications that skype is able to penetrate Mobile VOIP market with good numbers. Of course, 3 skypephone has certainly got a thumps up for being unique but mobile VOIP apps are nothing new to VOIP users. The only think people don't like while using Mobile VOIP is setting it up. Now if they got skype, then dont need to worry about anything which might work in favour of skype.
