Communicate With Wireless Networking Spectrums

Most business houses today depend on transfer of information or data transmission which is done at high speed. These businesses thrive because of their acceptance to latest technologies and their courage to try new methods. Earlier, it used to take longer to transfer data and there were chances of it leaking, but technology likewireless networking systems have made data sharing possible in a faster and safer way, free from tangling wires and chords. This system in no time has taken over the market and there remains nothing untouched, from our computers to our cell phones. Wireless networking system works on exchanging data between computers using electromagnetic waves and is categorized under three main heads:

  1. PAN- Personal Area Network
  2. LAN- Local Area Network
  3. WAN- Wide Area Network

Wireless LAN is the commonly used wireless networking system, based on two configurations- the Ad-hoc WLAN and the Infrastructure WLAN. Though both these configurations support direct exchange of data and information between different stations, Infrastructure WLAN does it through an access point whereas the Ad-hoc WLAN does it without an access point. These WLAN not only allow good data transmission in your laptops or computers but also the functioning in your third generation (3G) enabled cell phones. PAN networks are however suitable for smaller areas like home or small offices as their wireless mobility and connectivity is restricted to lesser area.

As the name says, these WLAN's are free from tangling wires and need no chords to connect different computers to one another. The best example to a WLAN is your everyday friend "laptop" that you can simply move around anywhere you go with wireless networking in operation. This system has been designed with care for immediate transfer of data almost anywhere and anytime keeping in mind the safety of data which is well protected by passwords.
