Wireless Router you are looking for a High-Performance. Stay or not? I already bought the Amazon after a long time to find information on the Internet found that Amazon sell cheaper elsewhere. And guaranteed delivery with Nothing remarkable about this router in the department, reliability and performance of the other routers I've owned or used. Two stars because of price.

The ultimate wireless entertainment. Connect your Blu-ray players, and enjoy high-definition video quickly and smoothly.

If you plan to use one for the home network to have the capability simultaneous dual-band for high performance wireless entertainment such as blu-ray and 3D movie downloads while you watch them. At the same time your kids can play games, and numerous things like this going on at the same time; it will keep a fast network and you will not notice a difference in todays technology which is growing fast.

It also has its hardware safety which is better than a lot of your software security versus numerous other units. It has an extremely large coverage so if you have a large home there are no worries with TRIPLE the number of internal antennas over the other Linksys E1000 for best coverage. Plus it has the USB port for centralized file sharing with built-in UPnP AV media server. Also the Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) ports for faster file sharing with other Gigabit devices. It is the Best for: Optimized performance for smoother media streaming in "everything" that you do.

I purchased the E3000 to replace a Linksys WRT54G that was starting to get flaky requiring regular reboots, and also to gain the benefit of the increased speed. I was not disappointed in the speed - wireless client speed tests confirmed a consistent ~300Mbps when paired with the Linksys AE1000 client adapter. Previous problems with incomplete file transfers went away and the signal strength was strong in every room of the house. The web based console is very complete and reliable and provides all the options you would need for home use. And for those familiar with prior versions, the navigation will be a breeze. The additional tabs added to the configuration page include setup for the integrated AV server, and an attached storage option. I've only been running it a couple of days now, but it seems very stable and the performance is consistent.
