The Wireless Festival is a music festival in England that takes place every year in Hyde Park, London, and took place at Harewood House, Leeds in 2006 and 2007. It is owned and managed by Live Nation. From its inception in 2005 until 2008, the festival was sponsored by telecommunications company O2, and was called the O2 Wireless Festival. Since 2009 the main sponsor has been Barclaycard and the festival renamed to simply Wireless Festival.
The Wireless Festival held in Londons Hyde Park is setting itself up for another amazing lineup in 2011. This is a great one for the family whilst still having that electric atmosphere we all thrive on at a festival. With multiple stages of spectacular music you get the best in dance, pop, rock and more. There is plenty to do at Wireless with an array of food stalls, a massive beer garden, fairgrounds, chill out areas, market stalls and more, there is something for everyone so you will never get bored.
Wireless with Barclaycard is delighted to announce that global superstars The Black Eyed Peas will headline the festival on Friday 1 July, and dance pioneers The Chemical Brothers are confirmed to headline on Saturday 2 July. Entering its seventh Wireless will take place from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd July. Black Eyed Peas will headline the Friday night of the three day event. It would appear they've let the cat out of the bag a few days early with Wireless announcing officially the headliners for Friday and Saturday, alongside a host of other acts on Monday.
