Fring releases Worlds First Andriod VOIP App

Fring did it again (as always) beating their competitors at Andriod VOIP. Android Phones are getting popular in the USA and VOIP is soon going to be huge on Android.

It seems Fring realised the potential much early and started working towards the goal of introducing the world's first Android VOIP application. fring has just released its first version for Android phones, enabling the world’s first free voice calls (VoIP) over fring and Skype, MSN and Google talk.

Accroding to the official PR, As of today, users can enjoy the world’s first free voice calls (VoIP) over fring, Skype, MSN and GoogleTalk and via hundreds of SIP providers. As on the rest of fring’s supported-platforms, they can also see real-time presence and live chat with their ICQ, Yahoo! and AIM buddies and use Twitter, as part of their integrated contact list.

fring on android works over 3G, GPRS or Wi-Fi internet connections. The brand-new Android version can be downloaded via fring’s WAP site at m.fring.com or directly via the Android Market.
